SINS3 HOTEL INFO

Here’s the long awaited info to get a hotelroom booked for SINS3.

Since we have moved from Antwerp-city to the countryside in Wieze, it was a bit harder to find lodging.

We hooked up with “the booking desk” which is an independent bookings office who took an option on several 100 rooms nearby the event.

Get in contact with “the bookingdesk” as soon as possible as options only last till the end of January and the rooms are filling up quick.

Meaning if you want a room it has to be reserved and paid before the end of the month.

NOTE!!! All hotel communication goes through “the bookingdesk”.

As promised on a previous thread I've been on to the ferry companies about getting all those heading to the SINS show in Antwerp on the 25-26th of April 09 a bit of a discount on their tickets , and Norfolk Line have come up trumps ! How does just £50 return per car with up to 4 passengers sound ? Bargain eh The crossing is Dover -Dunkerque leaving at 0900hrs Friday April 24th and returning Dunkerque-Dover at 1601hrs Monday April 27th . As I said you can have up to 4 passengers (Including the driver) per car and the price includes any fuel surcharge . The crossing is slightly longer than Dover-Calais but it saves a few miles driving the other side so should save a quid or two on petrol too ! Now this offer is dependant on us being a party of at least 15 vehicles and from the response I got when I suggested the idea we should easily reach that , should be a blast as we all hammer across Belguim en masse ! The cut-off for bookings is 31st January 2009 so get your skates on , it'll cost nearly double if you book elsewhere ! Important Stuff To make a booking you need to send an email titled FAO Sarah re: ANTWERP SHOW 09 to groupbooking@norfolkline.com containing the following information ; Dates and sailing times (As Above) Vehicle Details (Make , model , registration) Passenger Names Contact Details (Address , phone , email etc) Payment Details (Card No etc) DO IT BEFORE 31st JANUARY !!!!!!! I've used Norfolk Line before and they've always been most helpful , so I'm sure any last minute adjustments (For instance if you change vehicle or passenger names) before the trip will be fine , their ships are comfy and modern and their deck crew know how to take care of old cars . Hopefully we can get a good number of cars together and make a road trip of it ! This is NOT a club only offer , it is open to everyone , so pass the word and lets make this a trip to remember

Right in the middle of the SINS madness our buddy Ward came with the news he and his brother Sjef had to play the final of the Belgian Championship Hockey last Saterday...
Part of the gang went to check out the final and we had a really great time...White Caps turnhout won the Final 4-3 after a very noisy and wild game...
